Description
5mm THIN (Available in boxes of 10 or 25) | 10mm FIRM (Available in boxes of 5 or 25)
- SurfPrep 5mm & 10mm ProFoam abrasive pads are an excellent choice for preparing surfaces that requires nice, consistent, even cutting, flat sanding. Will work great for cabinet or furniture builders who must scuff sand into corners or opposing edges or sides. A must use inside drawer boxes where manual hand sanding is a challenge or where discs sanders do not allow for full coverage into a corner. Also can be used to sand detailed white wood beading on moldings.
1/2″ SQUISHY (Available in boxes of 5 or 25) | OVERSIZED 1/2″ SQUISHY (Available in boxes of 12)
- SurfPrep 1/2″ ProFoam abrasive pads are an excellent choice for preparing any surface that requires soft flexibility in order to ride over profiles so as not to cut or burn through lines or finishes. A great choice by cabinet makers who have challenges sanding or polishing the joint location of molding on a miter door.

The ProFoam is a game changer for any surface that isn’t flat. I made a live edge table and the edge had contours that looked like a topo map, and the ProFoam sanded it without removing any detail! You can put any edge on a board with a router and ProFoam will sand it without changing the profile.

Excellent quality sponges for sanding in between coats. I prep with MEDIUM sand the primer with VERY FINE. I like 5mm for flat stiles/rails and miter joints. The 10mm really comes in handy for dropping down into recessed center panels. The 1/2″ Squishy pads are amazing for mouldings/curves.
