SurfPrep sanders can connect to almost any vacuum you have or want. One thing to remember when considering the vacuum you are going to connect to is that the sander generates NO suction, all the suction will be coming from the vacuum itself! When using something like a shop vac, making sure the bag and filter are in good condition is a very important step in ensuring good suction. If you’re using a vacuum other than a SurfPrep branded vac (shop vacs for example), it’s likely you will need some additional vacuum accessories.
